Privacy

Last updated: 21 June 2026

Short version: the only thing we collect right now is your email, so we can tell you when EchoMind is ready. The extension itself runs on your own machine and has no server to send your data to.

Who's responsible for your data

The data controller is Jonathan Blakoe, an individual operating EchoMind from France. For any privacy question or request, contact jonathan@tryechomind.com.

The waitlist

If you enter your email on this site, it's stored with Resend, the service we use to manage the list and send mail. We use it for one purpose: to email you about EchoMind's launch and early access. We don't sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone else.

Lawful basis: we process your email on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by unsubscribing from any email or by emailing us — withdrawing it doesn't affect processing done before.

How long we keep it: we keep your email until EchoMind launches and we've finished telling waitlist members about it, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. After that it's removed.

The extension

The EchoMind browser extension isn't released yet. It's built to run entirely in your browser, with no EchoMind server, so your posts stay on your own machine. We'll publish the full detail of how it handles data here before it launches — so this policy currently only covers the waitlist above.

Service providers & international transfers

This site doesn't run ad trackers or analytics cookies. A few service providers (acting as our processors or as independent controllers) are involved in running it:

Fonts are served from this site itself, not from Google, so no data is shared with Google when the page loads.

Some of these providers are based in, or process data in, the United States. Where your data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, that transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email jonathan@tryechomind.com (or message us on X at @JonBuildsHQ) and we'll handle it. We don't make any automated decisions that produce legal effects about you.

If you think we've mishandled your data, you can lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority — in France, that's the CNIL.

Children

EchoMind isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes (for example, once the product launches and there's more to cover), I'll update the date at the top of this page.
